Saiqa Abbas transferred as AC to Peshawar Dry Port

PESHAWAR: Today was the first day of Saiqa Abbas, the then AC Headquarters at Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar, as Assistant Collector Dry Port Peshawar.

She was transferred from MCC Peshawar few days ago against the post of AC Headquarters to perform further duties in the new office of Pakistan Customs Wing of the Federal Board of Revenue at the Dry Port Peshawar.

Assistant Collector Dry Port Peshawar Saiqa Abbas served in MCC Peshawar for the period of an almost half year. She also has an experience to perform duties at Torkham Station as AC Exports.

The sources at Dry Port Peshawar said on Wednesday that she served for months as AC Export at Torkham Station and then came to the MCC Peshawar as an Assistant Collector Headquarters.

Saiqa Abbas has also been trained in capacity building from the Directorate of Training Islamabad. She hails from Waziristan and had joined the Pakistan Customs Service in December 2015 as Assistant Collector, Air Freight Unit (AFU) and Cargo, at the Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar.

She has also been in the establishment of WEBOC Cell at Customs House.
