Zeeshan Afridy, In-charge of Mobile Squad, Sub-Inspector Sami Khashif, Hamza Shahrom and other members of the raiding team, were sent for the operation.

Sub-Inspector Sami Khashif told Customs Today that on the directives of the high-ups we chased a pointed Mehran car from the exit of Kharkhano check-post.

Upon checking the car, police found stuff packed in a yellow tape. An F.I.R was lodged against the driver at the Sarband Police station and car was impounded by the Excise Police.

There are three types of hashish smuggled. One comes from Tirah of Khyber Agency, second from Barah and the third comes from Afghanistan through different routes.

The seized drug was of Afghanistan origin notoriously known as Mazari.
