The traders opine that, following the issue, Pakistan has stopped the import of any tomatoes, garlic or soybean from India during the past three months. After February, the Pakistani authorities did not unload 43 trucks of garlic sent from India to Pakistan to Land Freight Unit Wagah.

Now Pakistan has decreased the import of tomatoes from India citing the same reason. Tomato prices in Pakistan has gone as high as Rs 200 per kilograms but now due to good local crop, the rate has reached at Rs 60 per kilograms.
