Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 15 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s division bench-II (single and double), comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 15 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, heard five cases including Muhammad Latif versus customs Lahore, Customs Lahore versus Kaleem Ullah, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Bristol Mayer, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Rudolf Pakistan and customs Faisalabad versus J.K. Spinning.

On Thursday, the tribunal division bench-II heard 10 cases of Asian Food versus Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore Lahore Azmat International versus Customs Lahore, Faheem Traders versus Customs Lahore, Pak Electron Limited (PEL) versus Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore and Inam Traders versus Customs Lahore.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard Basharat Ali versus customs Lahore, customs Lahore versus A.I. Corporation Hazoor Ahmed Khan versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Berry International versus customs Lahore.

In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties. Tribunal reserved few verdicts and adjourns all other cases in the next dates.
