ISLAMABAD: The Customs International Mail Office (IMO) Islamabad surpassed the assigned target with the collection of Rs17.53million. The IMO was assigned Rs15.27million target for 10 months (July to April) Financial Year 2016-17 for collecting all duty and taxes on imports of parcels.
According to IMO, it exceeded all the assigned revenue collection targets for initial 10 months of current Financial Year FY2016-17. The IMO collected Rs2.09million against the assigned target for April FY16-17 and the IMO collected Rs2.4million against the assigned target of Rs2.00million for March.
During February, the IMO collected Rs1.90million against the target of Rs1.4million. During the month of January, the IMO collected Rs1.89million against the target of Rs1.5million whereas the IMO collected Rs1.81million during December against the target of Rs1.5million.
During the month of November FY16-17, the IMO collected Rs1.80million against the assigned target of Rs1.47million whereas the IMO collected RsRs.1.81million against the assigned target of Rs1.3million during the month of October and the IMO collected Rs1.64million during September against the assigned revenue collection target of Rs1.5million.
During the month of August FY16-17, the IMO collected Rs1.47million against the assigned target of Rs1.46million whereas the IMO collected Rs1.13million against the assigned target of Rs1.13million during the month of July FY2016-17.
