FAISALABAD: Price control magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum on Saturday imposed fine on ten shopkeepers over profiteering and overcharging.
A spokesman for city district government said the price control magistrate conducted surprise visits to various markets in Muslim Town, Ramzan Lasani Pulli, Usmania Bridge, Kamal Pur and checked quality and sale of daily use commodities. He said that ten shopkeepers were involved in overcharging and profiteering on which magistrate imposed a total fine of Rs 30,500 on them.
