He argued that officials of the Intelligence and Investigation Inland Revenue raid the premises of the petitioner and took away all computers, files, bank statements, file, vouchers and other documents without disclosing any reason or issuing any show cause notice.

Citing Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), DG Intelligence & Investigation Inland Revenue, Director Intelligence & Investigation Inland Revenue and investigation officer as respondents, the petitioner pleaded the court may declare that act of the respondents is illegal, mala fide and arbitrary.

He also pleaded the SHC may direct them to release all equipment and accessories and restrain them from taking any coercive action against the petition.
