ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has decided to keep its headquarters open on all Saturdays till June 30, 2017.
The competent authority at the FBR has directed the officers and staff, particularly those involved in budget making exercise, to remain present on Saturdays as per normal office hours with effect from May 13, 2017.
The Federal Board of Revenue, on May 9, had directed all field formations to remain open and observe normal working hours on Saturdays with effect from May 13 to June 30, 2017. The FBR issued directive in order to boost up the efforts to meet the budgetary target for the last quarter of current financial year.
