FBR issues tax notices to 70 doctors of Hameed Latif hospital

LAHORE: As the current fiscal year is going to end Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) authorities tightened their noose around tax defaulters.

Sources told Customs Today that FBR issued tax notices to around seventy doctors who are performing their duties in Hameed Latif Hospital. Sources said that FBR asked them to submit their tax statements from Fiscal Year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Sources said that FBR issued tax notices to Dr. Syed Sibtainul Hasan, Dr. Shamaila Kanwal, Dr. Samreen Arshad, Dr. Rashida Imtiaz, Dr. Maryam Asif, Dr. Madiha Abdul Hafeez, Dr. Kamran Rana, Dr. Asma Ajaz, Dr. Anum Wazir, Dr. Zubair Ahmed, Dr. Zerek Laila, Dr. Zainul Abideen, and Dr. Zohra.

Sources said that FBR warned them to submit their tax statements otherwise stern legal action will be taken against them which will result in seizure of their properties and attachment of bank accounts.
