Islamabad IMO collects Rs900000 during 15 days of current month

ISLAMABAD: The international mail office (IMO) Islamabad earned Rs900000 during initial 15 days of May of Financial Year FY2016-17. The IMO has been tasked with the collection of Rs2.00million in the month of May. During the last quarter (April to June) FY2016-17, the allocated revenue targets were higher against the targets of the first three quarters (July to March) FY16-17.

Assistant Collector IMO Ali Asad told Customs Today that during the last week, the collector model customs collectorate Islamabad called a meeting of all the customs stations of Islamabad. During the meeting, collector appreciated the performance of the IMO during the last 10 months (July to April 16-17) and the collector was optimistic about meeting the revised target in May and June.
Ali Asaid said that during the first 15 days of current month, the IMO showed good performance despite the fact that there were additional holidays during in May.
Explaining the details of the last 10 months (July to April FY16-17), he said the IMO exceeded almost all the assigned revenue targets for initial 10 months of current financial year. The IMO collected Rs2.09million against allocated target of Rs2.05million for April FY16-17. The IMO collected Rs2.4million against the earmarked target of Rs2.00million for March.
During the month of February, the IMO earned Rs1.90million income against the target of Rs1.4million. During January, the IMO generated Rs1.89million revenue target of Rs1.5million whereas the IMO collected Rs1.81million revenue during the month of December against the target of Rs1.5million.
During the month of November FY2016-17, the IMO received Rs1.80million against the allocated target of Rs1.47million while the IMO did RsRs.1.81million against the earmarked target of Rs1.3million. During October, the IMO got Rs1.64million during the month of September against the assigned revenue target of Rs1.64million.
Assistant Collector Ali told Customs Today that during the month of August FY2016-17, the IMO generated Rs1.47million income against the allocated target of Rs1.46million whereas the IMO collected Rs1.13million against the tasked target of Rs1.13million during July FY2016-17.
