IRAO Zia-ul-Haq exonerated from allegations

ISLAMABAD: Zia-ul-Haq, an Inland Revenue Audit Officer, has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.

The disciplinary proceedings under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 were initiated against the officer, posted at Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad, vide charge sheet No 2(108)/2009-MIR-III dated 07.03.2017.

Ziaullah Khan, Additional Commissioner, LTU Islamabad, was appointed as inquiry officer to conduct inquiry into the charges levelled against the officer. According to inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were not established. The authorized officer/Member (Administration), after having considered the inquiry report and documentary evidence available on record, exonerated, Zia-ul-Haq from the charge levelled against him.
