Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse tasked with special duty for audit

FAISALABAD: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Collector Muhammad Sadiq has assigned a special duty to Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse and Private Bond to streamline the audit of licence working under SRO 450 (1) 2001 and SRO 327 (1) 2008 among inspector, appraiser and deputy superintendent with immediate effect.

Collector Muhammad Sadiq has directed the field staff to keep an eye on tax defaulters and guide them about tax system for enhanced monitoring and quick disposal of audit work.

The audit team comprises officials including Appraiser Faiz Muhammad, Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Shoaib and Inspector Ghulam Murtaza Anjum, Muhammad Asif, Safdar Ali, Habib Mayo and Muhammad Afzal Awan.

It is pertinent to mention here that collector has given the special guidelines to customs officials to take strict action against tax defaulters.

The collector will review the overall performance of different departments of Customs Faisalabad for the last one year, sources said. The audit team has already started its work.
