FBR earns Rs4125m thru 203,690 transactions from buyers of properties till 31st of May

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has collected over Rs4125million through 203,690 transactions from the purchasers of properties under Section 236 C of Withholding Tax till 31st of May 2017 while last financial year during the same period, the FBR had did Rs1808million through 185,113 transactions under Section 236C.

The FBR has generated more than double revenue in the current Financial Year (2016-17). According to officials, the FBR has earned Rs2317million in 18,577 transactions more as compared to last FY. In July 2016, the FBR has received Rs136.947million in 10,616 transactions as compared to last FY Rs110.311million in 10,452 transactions. In August 2016, the FBR got Rs319.070million through 17,728 transactions while last FY FBR had did Rs159.983million in 16,997 transactions. Same as in September 2016, the FBR collected Rs313.447million in 15,966 transactions as compared to last FY of Rs159.449 million in 13,277 transactions.

In October 2016, the FBR earned Rs330.110million in 17,330 transactions. In November, the FBR received Rs439.048million in 20,917 transactions as compared to last FY of Rs168.039million in 16,865 transactions. In December 2106, the FBR got Rs392.071 in 19,407 transactions as compared to last FY of Rs169.658million in 17,715 transactions.

In January 2017, the FBR generated Rs434.033million in 21,094 transactions as compared to last FY. During the same period, the FBR got Rs176.366million in 19,219 transactions. In February 2017, the FBR collected Rs500.270million in 22,442 transactions as compared to last FY. During the same period, the FBR generated Rs177.498 million in 19,392 transactions.

In March 2017, the FBR generated Rs502.351million in 23,634 transactions as compared to last FY of Rs211.074million in 21,868 transactions. In April 2017, the FBR received Rs447.144million in 20,454 transactions as compared to last FY of Rs177.897million in 18,400 transactions and finally in May 2017 FBR has collected Rs311million in 14,102 transactions while during the same period in last FY, the FBR had collected Rs141.305million in 14,406 transactions.
