Islamabad ASO impounds worth Rs5.9m goods & vehicles during May 27 to June 2 2016-17

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Islamabad impounded various kinds of smuggled goods and a Non-Duty-Paid vehicle and three offending vehicles. The value of the said goods and vehicles is Rs5.9million. The impounding was executed from May 27 to June 2 of Financial Year 2016-17.

According to Deputy Collector ASO Ansir Anis, the ASO had geared up their efforts to do more and more seizures. During said period, the ASO impounded three offending vehicles including Mazda truck with registration No: LES-7485 worth Rs1.0million whereas it did offending Suzuki pickup with registration No: LES-17-4667 valued Rs0.5million and the ASO also impounded Isuzu truck with registration No: RIN-6442 worth Rs1.0million.
During above said period, the ASO seized 3,040 kilogram of used rim, two LED TVs of 60 inches, one LED TV of 52 inches, one Blue-Ray Disc/DVD Home Theatre System, two split type outdoor unit, 1,705 kilogram of compressor for refrigerator, one number of Sony Bravia TV 70/x950, one Samsung LED TV 70/x950, two numbers of Samsung LED TV 60/ks, 288 kilogram of Premium KYK Shock Absorber, five numbers of Cap Assay oil Filter, eight kilogram of cylinder Assay, 8,316 kilogram of fresh Banana, 401 kilogram of ladies Polyester cloths and one NDP vehicle Toyota car.
