KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday (today) will take up more than 20 customs and income tax related cases.
According to the roaster, due to summer vacations, only one bench will take up these cases, headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi.
According to the SHC office, intimation notices also were issued to the both sides’ for attending the court and SHC has also directed the parties to appear before the court and file their respective para wise comments.
It may be pertained here that summer vacation has been started from first week of June till first week of August 2017 and due to these vacations, only one bench will take up these cases which would hear cases of urgent basis and those which were adjourned for vacation period.
The acting judge Syed Arshad Noor, acting Judge of Customs Taxation & Anti-Smuggling Court also will take up customs & income tax related urgent matters like physical remand, receiving charges sheets, FIRs etc.
