ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has sought suggestions for improvement in WeBOC system from the users and stakeholders by July 21, 2017.
According to Reforms & Automation Director General Muhammad Saleem, the Directorate General of Customs Reforms & Automation is making all possible efforts for end to end automation. By now, 42 modules have already been developed, deployed and operative. Few more are in the making. At the moment, 90 per cent of goods declarations (GDs) are filled and processed under WeBOC as the target is 100 per cent.
The directorate said that the users’ feedback and inputs are highly important for ensuring improvements, efficiency and effectiveness of the automated system. It suggested that precise feedback may be sent at [email protected] and [email protected] on the following format:

Module-wise feedback will help focus upon the problem and the above list is just an indicative one. Additional module(s) may be added where any difficulty is faced.
In case there is also some international best practice for improving any of WeBOC processes then that may also be shared. Sharing of relevant material or a web link etc will also help understand the same. Customs colleagues who have relevant international exposure can also make substantial contributions in this regard.
