GB IG requests Islamabad MCC for purchase of impounded vehicles at token price

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) requested the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad for purchase of impounded tampered vehicles at token price urgently.

The Inspector General GB has sent the request through an official letter to Collector c Islamabad in which he asked to buy the impounded tampered vehicles at token price (Fix price). The IG GB wrote the Collector MCC Islamabad that in view of the prevailing law and order in the GB province, official as well as operational duties of the police have increased manifolds.
The IG also told the Collector MCC Islamabad that maintenance of law and order is the basic responsibility of this organization which cannot be performed without a proper strength of the official vehicles urgently.
The IG asked the Collector MCC Islamabad in the letter that some suitable tampered vehicles may be sold to this office at minimum token price in the public interest. The IG also asked in the written letter that his office will abide by all the rules governing such buying to the government departments.
