Customs Tribunal reserves verdicts in few cases

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II reserved the verdicts in few cases heard on Tuesday. The bench-II, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 12 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, heard one case of the Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Elahi Corporation.

On Wednesday, the Division Bench-II heard 11 cases including Hilton Enterprises versus Customs Faisalabad, Abdul Bari versus Customs Faisalabad, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Fakhar Abbas, Muhammad Rehman versus Customs Multan.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard cases filed by H.S.Rukan-ud-Din versus Customs Lahore, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore Fassna Impex, Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Chaudhry Flower, Customs Faisalabad versus Shehzad Enterprises, Customs Lahore versus Ahmed Trade and customs Faisalabad versus Shahzad Enterprises and Customs Lahore versus Hidyat Enterprises.

In few cases, verdicts reserved will be announced very soon.
