Customs Valuation department faces loose end, vows to reschedule database

KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Valuation is facing a loose end in issuance of new valuation rulings.

In a recent meeting , it was decided that the Collectorate will not rescheduled database in June, new valuation and the old valuation will be reschedule and there will be a shuffle in prices.

On condition of anonymity, a source told Customs Today that the valuation department does not take solo decision, whenever the old prices are to be revised, all the stake holders are taken into confidence.
