Date exports earn $10m in 1 Month

BAGHDAD: More than 10,600 tons of different kinds of dates worth 373 billion rials (approx. $10 million) were exported from Iran during the first month of the current fiscal year (March 21-April 20), according to the latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

The main export destinations for Iranian dates during the one-month period were Australia, the UK, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Kazakhstan, Canada, Lebanon, Poland, New Zealand, the UAE, Pakistan, Germany, Afghanistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the US, Denmark, Sweden, Iraq, Russia, Malaysia, the Netherlands and India, Young Journalists Club reported.
