Hyderabad Customs Intelligence impounds vehicle worth Rs2.5m in June

HYDERABAD: The Customs Intelligence Hyderabad impounded a non-duty-paid Toyota Premo car modelled 2003 valued Rs2.5million involving duty and taxes of Rs01.5million during an operation at Fateh Chowk in Hyderabad during the month of June 2017.

Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Intelligence conducted a raid following a tip-off received through Deputy Director Waqar Haroon Malik to curb the smuggling.
A special team was formed, comprising of Superintendent Qasim Ali Alvi, Intelligence Officers Irfan Ghani, Inspector Syed Noor Muhammad Shah, Sepoys Muhammad Imran, Noshad Khan, Ghayas Ahmad Shah, Aslam Chohan, Azam Ali Chandio, Driver Hanif Soomro, Janib curb and others, to intercept the said vehicle with registration No: AHZ-124.
