KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) in collaboration with the Bader Expo Solutions has organised four-day Pakistan International Trade Fair (PITF-2017) ; from 26 to 29 October 2017.
This is the first event of its kind being organised by FPCCI, said PITF Chairman and former vice president Hanif Gohar at a press conference at the Federation House on Tuesday. President FPCCI Zubair F.Tufail, Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group in FPCCI S.M.Muneer, FPCCI Vice Presidents Irfan Sarwana, Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Al-Haj Dhani Bakhsh Memon, FPCCI former vice president Mumtaz Ali Shaikh, former senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig were also present.
Hanif Gohar said the international trade show would be housed in six halls of Karachi Expo Centre and more than sixty percent stalls were booked so far by international and domestic companies.
” We are in interaction with twenty countries,” he said adding that the remaining 40 percent stalls will be sold very soon. The PITF event would be the biggest trade and consumer fair that would bring numerous opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs to gather in one place and showcase their products, increase brand awareness as well as strengthen their relationships with other companies and their customers.
The companies construction, consumer products, banking, insurance, machinery and automobiles, alternate energy resources would bring their products and technologies. Besides, goods such as furniture, sports equipment and handicraft would be displayed.
PITF would allow companies the opportunity to increase brand awareness and have the chance to strengthen relationships with their existing customers as well as establish relations with international exhibiting companies attending the fair.
There would be an opportunity for B2B and B2C meetings. This would prove a gateway to international market, he said. ” We are trying to bring maximum number of exhibitors and visitors to this fair,” he re-affirmed.
On the first two days, there would be only corporate visitors and then it would be open for the general public. Hanif Gohar informed that on the side the international trade fair, there would be a youth festival based on wide range of entertainment activities.
He said, on this occasion, there would be a seminar on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Federal Ministers were also expected to speak. FPCCI President Zubair F. Tufail and S.M.Muneer also spoke on the importance of PITF.
