Customs Appellate Tribunal postpones hearing of 7 cases till next dates

LAHORE: The division bench-II of the Customs Appellate Tribunal has adjourned the hearing of 7 cases till the next date as Member Technical Imran Tariq was on leave.

On Monday, the counsels for the appellants and respondents appear in the tribunal but due to leave of one member all the cases were adjourned. A single bench of the tribunal heard all the fixed cases.

The seven cases, which were fixed for hearing included Customs Sambrial versus Nawaz Zada Haider, Six Star Sports versus customs Sialkot, and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Muhammad Arif Abdullah.

Furthermore, tribunal hears Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Muhammad Akram, Ghogha Shahbaz versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, M/s Down Enterprises versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad Lahore and customs Faisalabad versus Kamal Textile.

Single bench comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem heard 4 case including Muhammad Asghar versus Customs Lahore, Directorate Post Clearance Audit Lahore versus M/s ANQ Traders, Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Javaid and Customs Lahore versus Tasawar Hussain.
