Govt reduces prices of agri-inputs to offer relief to farmers: Bosan

MULTAN: Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan said that incumbent government reduced prices of agricultural inputs in order to facilitate farmers. While visiting Mango Festival here on Monday he said that the government was also making all possible efforts to improve export of mangoes. He stated that all the obstacles in way of mango exports would be removed.

The minister congratulated organizers of the festival and stated that it would help improve export of the exotic fruit. He urged upon orchard owners and others to prepare more value added items to earn maximum income. Vice Chancellor Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture Dr Asif informed that they tried their best to introduce the tasty fruit to ambassadors of different countries, exporters and other stakeholders.
