Faisalabad Customs Adjudication recovers Rs387.281m during June 2017

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Faisalabad recovered Rs3877.281million after concluding different seizure cases during June 2017.

Sources told Customs Today that Faisalabad Customs Adjudication decided almost 339 cases during said period. The adjudication issued Order-In-Originals (ONOs) in all the cases in favor of Customs Anti-Smuggling Organizations Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Sara-e-Muhajir and Customs Intelligence and Investigation of Regional Office Faisalabad.

The department heard smuggling cases of oil, cloth, tea, auto parts, Iranian diesel, Rani Juice, Toyota Corolla and other items during said period. Collector Adjudication Mirza Mubashir Baig decided 22 cases which involved Rs155.321million while Additional Collector Saeed Asad settled 70 cases involving Rs128.499million.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed decided 247 cases which involved Rs103.461million and announced decisions in favor of Customs Intelligence and Investigation.
