FBR publishes new draft income tax returns for individuals after amendment

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has published new draft income tax returns for individuals for tax year 2017-18 after making further made amendment in the Income Tax Rules, 2002.

The Board has made the new amendments under the powers conferred upon it by sub-section (1) of section 237 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001) and published for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and, as required by sub-section (3) of the said section. The draft will be taken into consideration by the Federal Board of Revenue after seven days of its publication in the official Gazette.
