Saudi Customs holds 24-hour workshop on customs clearance at King Khalid International Airport

RIYADH: The General Customs Department held a workshop on the implementation of Al-Faseh within 24 hours at the headquarters of the Riyadh Municipality in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of customs partners in customs work from the public and private sectors, in addition to the participation of specialists from the employees of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh And the Riyadh port dry port. The objectives of the workshop are to define the phases of the clearing within 24 hours at the King Khalid International Airport and Riyadh Port Dry Port, as well as the definition of the implementation phase which was recently carried out at Jeddah Islamic Port Customs and will be implemented at King Abdul Aziz Port Customs during the next few weeks.

The workshop saw an interaction of all participants who influenced its interlocutors by asking questions and suggestions. It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Customs has worked during the last phase to hold several workshops to introduce its initiatives and commitments towards the vision of the Kingdom 2030 and the national transformation 2020 in a number of customs outlets. This comes in the interest of the Saudi Customs to include communication all the customs work communities and its main components represented by the customs work partners.
