DC R&D/AIB seeks reply of show cause notice issued to M/s Rahmani Traders

KARACHI: The Deputy Collector R&D/AIB of the Customs Appraisement West has asked M/s Rahmani Traders to file requisite comments in reply to a show cause notice for final disposal of the proceedings before the licensing authority.

According to a letter, a show cause notice of even number issued on July 6, 2017 was sent to M/s Rahmani Traders on detection of irregularity by the R&D Section, Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West Karachi. The hearing in this respect was fixed for June 19, 2017 and then for July 5, 2017. However, neither the requisite reply nor any one appeared for the hearing from the department.

“It is once again requested to file requisite comments on reply to show cause submitted by the subject customs agent at the earliest for final disposal of the proceedings before the licensing authority”, it added.

It is further requested that a representative well versed with the facts of the case may be deputed to attend next hearing fixed before the Additional Collector-Licensing Customs Appraisement West at KICT Office West Wharf Karachi.
