Excise officials seize drugs in Lahore, arrest three

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has seized a large quantity of drugs and fake alcohol from different areas of the city.

According to excise officials, on the directions of Excise and Taxation Director General Ahmad Aziz Tarar excise teams raided in Green Town and Allama Iqbal Town and seized drugs and raw alcohol.

The team led by Inspector Iftikhar Sandhu seized hundreds of litres raw alcohol and other drugs. The team arrested three accused, Shakeel Masih, Chand Masih and an unidentified person.

The DG has directed all directors to take strict action against drug smugglers. The department has registered a first information report against the accused.
