MOSCOW: Russia, a major global wheat exporter, had harvested 46.8 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 4.20 tonnes per hectare from 23 percent of the total area as of August 4, Agriculture Ministry data showed on Monday. That was down from the 55.4 million tonnes harvested with an average yield of 3.67 tonnes by the same date a year earlier, the ministry said.
