Customs Adjudication decides 30 cases involving Rs 48.960 in July

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication authorities settled as many as 30 cases involving Rs 48.960 million during the month of July 2017.

Sources told Customs Today, that the Customs Adjudication issued Order in Original (ONOs) in favor of the Faisalabad Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad and Field Investigation Unit (FIU) Khushab. The sources further said that all 30 cases include seizures of cloths, Indian origin food grains, Iranian diesel, cell-phones, foreign origin cigarettes, auto parts, Toyota Corolla vehicles with different registration numbers, ladies cloths and toys which were confiscated during different raids by the customs authorities.

According to a monthly statement, Faisalabad Adjudication Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig decided 4 involving Rs30.630 Million whereas same Additional Collector Muhammad Saeed Asad decided three smuggling cases involving Rs 4.290 million.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed settled 23 cases involving Rs14.040 million and announced decisions in favour of the Customs Intelligence and Investigations and Anti Smuggling Organizations (ASO) Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang and Sara-e-Muhajir.
