BWH Peshawar generates Rs774m extra revenue against previous Financial Year’s

PESHAWAR: The Bonded Ware House Peshawar has received Rs2885.95million of revenue collection during FY2016-17 against the revenue collection of Rs2111.38 million during the corresponding Financial Year 2015-16. So the increase of income between the two years is Rs774million.

The B.W.H Peshawar collected a total of Rs1123.80million as customs duties out of which Rs0.53million was earned by impounding miscellaneous goods in the same period.

The FBR officer at the Customs House Peshawar informed Customs Today on Monday that the B.W.H Peshawar generated a grand total of Rs46.02million from applied Sales Tax on goods purchased or sold in the markets.

The B.W.H Peshawar got Rs183.83million as AIT and did Rs1427.55million as Sales Tax VN Palm Oil. The B.W.H performed excellently by extending its tax collection methods for which Collector Qurban Ali Khan deserves appreciation.

The B.W.H Peshawar collected an amount of Rs104.75million as Federal Excise Duty which is a big achievement for the staff of the Ware House in MCC Peshawar.
