DUBAI: The Corporate Communication Department and Administrative Affairs Department at Dubai Customs recently organized an awareness traffic campaign under the title “Drive Safe” in cooperation with Dubai Police, Emirates Driving Institute and Thumbay Hospital. As the name indicates, the campaign aimed at raising awareness around safety on roads and educating employees about the new traffic law.
Improving the traffic attitudes and instilling the traffic safety culture amongst employees and community members in accordance with the government strategic plans and vision were the main highlights of the event. The campaign included free sugar and blood tests, and guidance of how to remain healthy. At the end of the event, a raffle draw was held and a number of gifts were given to employees and participants.
