ISLAMABAD: All the sections of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad earned Rs215.02million of Customs Duty (CD) during the first 21 days of August Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.
According to details explained by Dr. Saeed Khan Jadoon, Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad, while talking with Customs Today that all the customs sections consist of Islamabad Dry Port (IDP), Air Freight Unit (AFU), C Bond, Unaccompanied Baggage (UAB), Accompanied Baggage (AB) and International Mail Office (IMO).
He said that, during the initial 21 days of August FY17-18, the IDP collected Rs125.10million of CD while AFU did Rs115.17million of CD while C Bond received Rs0.10million of revenue under the same head.
Giving details, he said that, during above said period, the UAB generated Rs0.75million of CD whereas Customs Section AB did Rs2.60million of CD. The IMO got Rs1.30million of CD.
He said the Collectorate of Islamabad collected gross revenue of Rs245.02million while MCC paid Rs30million as Rebate and Refunds so the total net collection is Rs215million of CD during the first 21 days of August FY17-18.
