DG Shaukat Ali arrives in Karachi to review performance of Customs I&I

KARACHI: Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Federal Board of Revenue Shaukat Ali has arrived in Karachi.

Sources told Customs Today that during his stay in the provincial metropolis he will visit Karachi Directorate and review the performance of the Karachi Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations and will also discuss the issues and problems faced by the officers while performing their duties in field.

Director General Shaukat Ali will preside over the meeting while Director Karachi Customs I&I and other officer will participate in the meeting. Directorate General Customs I&I headquarter Islamabad has directed all officers and officials of Karachi office that they are bound to attend the meeting.

According to sources, Director General Shaukat Ali will likely to spend whole next week in Karachi. He will also review the performance of Quetta and Gwadar Directorates of Customs Intelligence and Investigation and in this regard he has called the meeting in Karachi office after Eidul Zoha. Director General will also visit the Port Qasim and Customs Collectorate Karachi offices.
