FBR extends last date for filing salary WHT statement till 31st

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing annual statement of salary deduction up to August 31 from July 31.

In a circular issued by the FBR stated that the withholding agent (employers) can submit their annual statement of withholding tax deducted from salary paid to their employees under Section 149 of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
