Earlier, counsel for the petitioner stated that he is lawful owner of trailer Nissan model 1984 bearing registration number TLG-778 which was loaded with container of non-army NATO good from Chaman to Port Qasim Karachi for onward shipment to the United States.

According to the petitioner, when trailer reached Saeedabad Bye Pass, district Matiari, some persons broke the seal of the container and took away the consignment and loaded the same with sand bags, therefore, his trailer was sealed by concerned authorities.

Citing Collector of Customs Adjudication-1, Director General Afghan Transit Trade, Collector of Customs Collectorate Preventive and SHO Port Muhammad Bin Qasim as respondents, he pleaded the court to direct the customs officials to release his vehicle immediately and restrain them from taking any coercive action against the petitioner.
