Upon a demand, the driver and possessor of van Raja Nadeem Kiyani son of Sharafat Kiyani, a resident of Bara Koh Islamabad, failed to produce any import or auction documents except the photo copy of the registration book.

As per import and auction data available with the Directorate General, no import and auction record existed. So team of the anti-smuggling of Rawalpindi Directorate impounded the vehicle Toyota Hiace Van and shifted it to the state warehouse, Sector G-12, under section 17 of the Customs Act-1969 for further verification of its import status and payment of duties and taxes and forensic lab test.

After a report of the lab test from Islamabad Police and further confirmation from the PRAL and Motor Registration Authority Jaffarabad Balochistan, it has been confirmed that there is no record of the van. After the registration of FIR, notice has been issued to the possessor of the vehicle.
