FBR’s Gujranwala RTO collects Rs4.47b against Rs4.22b target in 5 months

SIALKOT:  The Regional Tax Directorate Gujranwala has achieved its recovery target and collected as many as Rs 4.47 billion taxes from this region during the first five months of the current fiscal year.

According to the senior FBR officials, the FBR had fixed an official recovery target of Rs 4 .22 billion taxes during this period. The officials added that Rs. 2.42 billion have been recovered as Income Tax, Rs 1. 81 billion as Sales Tax and Rs 1 million have been recovered as Federal Excise Duty (FED) from Gujranwala Region.
