Minister approves 2.5km gas pipeline worth Rs15m for Morgah Kotha Kalan

RAWALPINDI: New gas pipeline costing Rs 15 million has been approved for UC-Kotha Kalan and Morgah has been approved.

This pipeline will be 2.5 kilometer long and 6 inches wide. Minister of petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbas has approved this project and now the file has been forwarded to headquarters at Lahore for approval. Gas crisis has reached alarming proportion in Morgah and Kotha Kalan. The gas pipeline through which gas is being supplied to these areas is one and a half inch. New pipeline will be connected with main pipeline Jhelum road. The survey of these areas has been conducted.
