FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed has heard three cases of smuggled involving Rs 4,416,288 and adjourned all cases for the next hearing.
Sources told Customs Today, that all the three cases have been filed by the Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation here the other day.
The cases for hearing are included a case of foreign origin polyester grey fabrics involving duty and taxes amounting to Rs 3,54,493 against Noor Muhammad and others accused person a case of Toyota Corolla Car No, AMR-373 Sindh against Muhammad Idrees while a case of computer and laptops involving Rs10,76,000 against Mahar Khan.
All the above said items were brought into the country without payment of leviable duty and taxes violating the customs laws.
