Recovery Cell Hyderabad deposits Rs01.2m into national kitty

HYDERABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate, Recovery Cell Hyderabad, deposited Rs01.2million into national exchequer which was received from the collection of customs duties and taxes during the month of September FY2017-18.

The collection was made by Atlas Cable Kotri and Genre Trade Noriaba. Under the supervision of Collector Akhlaq Ahmad Khattaq, Model Customs Hyderabad, Additional Collector Dr Aamer Nawaz Hamid, Deputy Collector Basit Hussain, the team comprised Superintendent Aslam Parvez Abbasi, Recovery Cell In-Charge Inspector Habib Ahmed Sheikh and other staff.

Besides, Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad State Warehouse deposited Rs364814 into the national exchequer. The amount was collected through customs duties and taxes during the FY2017-18. The goods, including oil tanker and Rani juice, were impounded by the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO).

MCC Hyderabad Collector Akhlaq Ahmad Khattaq and Additional Collector Dr Aamer Nawaz Hamid have appreciated the performance of their subordinates.

Collector MCC Hyderabad Akhlaq Ahmad Khattaq emphasized the officers to continue their efforts to get outstanding balance. In this regard, the collector visited different branches where Additional Collector Aamer Nawaz Hamid and other officers also accompanied him.
