Appraisement East generates Rs 24.97m revenue till October 14

KARACHI: Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East has generated Rs 24.97 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during first 14 days of October.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement East collected Rs 8.78 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 7.85 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 4.56 million under the head of income tax and Rs 3.78 million as federal excise duty during 14 days.

It is necessary to mention here that Customs Collectorate of Appraisement East generated Rs 12.564 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during first nine days of October.

Customs Appraisement East collected Rs 3.23 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 4.354 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 2.2 million under the head of income tax and Rs 2.78 million as federal excise duty during first nine days of the current month.

According to source Collector of Appraisement East Ashad Jawwad has said we are hopeful to achieve the target in the end of financial year, we are making a new strategy for achieve the target and we will get it.
