OPC-BoR cooperation vital to facilitate overseas Pakistanis

LAHORE: Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti has said that the role of Board of Revenue (BoR) and Revenue officers at district level is of great importance to ensure swift disposal of revenue related cases of overseas Pakistanis.

He was addressing the participants in a meeting with senior member BoR, Cap ® Javed Akbar, regarding cases of overseas Pakistanis, pending in revenue courts of the province, says a handout issued here on Saturday.

Afzaal Bhatti said that as a result of enhanced cooperation of OPC and BoR, complaints of overseas Pakistanis could be settled early. Javed Akbar said that maximum cooperation was being extended to the OPC to resolve the revenue related complaints of overseas Pakistanis. Certain complaints of expatriate Pakistanis were thoroughly discussed during the meeting.

DG OPC Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari, Director Revenue Ishrat-Ullah Niazi and relevant officers of BoR attended the meeting.
