Resolution against levy of RD on 731 imported items submitted in PA

LAHORE: A resolution against the 731 imported filed in the Punjab Assembly. Resolution is filed by the Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed.

According to the details, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmood filed a resolution before the house that Government of Pakistan has impose regularity duty as 5 to 80 percent on the imported items.

He mentioned in the resolution that imposition of regularity the inflation will be raised that this implosion will be directly effect the common man of the county..

Added more that Mini Budget is directly pressure on the common man that is due to failed policies of the government. After this regularity duty the prices of basic necessities of life will be will be raise. Public already facing the overbilling and high rate of electricity and public now want to relief but government put further duties on the imported items.

Government put Burdon of Rupees 25 billion on the public that is due to failed policies of Finance Minster Ishaq Dar. Opposition in Punjab Assembly also demands the resignation from the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

It is pertaining to mentioned here that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued the notification of increasing Regularity Duty (RD) on imported commodities following the decision of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet. The ECC on October 6 approved to increase RD on imported goods to control imports bill, which widened the current account deficit of the country.
