Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 12 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 12cases on Thursday and adjourned all the cases to different dates.

According to the details, Division bench-II comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq Member Technical heard nine cases including Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Imran Hardware, Muhammad Asgher versus Customs Lahore, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Muhammad Zahid.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of M/s Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore, Raja Intesar Mehboob versus Customs Lahore, Irfan Eziz versus Customs Multan.

On Thursday, same bench heard appeal of Muhammad Sadiq versus Customs Lahore, Hazoor Buksh versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Rai Muhammad versus Customs Lahore.

The single bench-I comprising Imran Tariq Member Technical heard three cases of Muhammad Hussain versus Customs Faisalabad, Muhammad Rehman versus Customs Lahore and Tanvir Hussain versus Customs Lahore.

In the cases which were adjourned the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal ordered the appellant to appear on next dates of hearing and conclude their arguments before tribunal.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard the rutien cases fixed for hearing on Thursday. The counsel for appellant and respondents will appear before the tribunal and present their arguments before the tribunal and tribunal will decide the case after the completion of hearing.
