Customs Tribunal reserves verdicts of five cases, adjourns 15 ones

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 20 cases on Tuesday and adjourned 15 ones for different dates without those five cases whose verdicts were reserved.

The Division Bench-II, comprising Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard eight cases including Rana Shaukat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Ashraf versus Customs Faisalabad, Supreme Tube versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Latif versus Customs Lahore.

Furthermore, same bench heard Adnan Communication versus Customs Department, Customs Multan versus Kakub Enterprises, Muhammad Anwar versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Rehmat Ullah versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

The single bench-I, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial, heard six cases including Barkat Steel Mills versus Customs Lahore, Saqib versus Customs Lahore, Mumtaz Hussain versus Customs Multan, Director Intelligence and investigation Faisalabad versus Hameed Sahib and Director Intelligence and Investigation (FBR) Faisalabad versus Abdul Rehman.

The single bench-II, comprising Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard six cases including Admiral Stationary versus Customs Sambrial, Farhat Abbas Shah versus Customs Faisalabad, Tanvir Hussain versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Rehman versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Hassan versus Customs Faisalabad and Shoaib Shafique versus Customs Lahore.
