KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday directed the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) to complete inquiry against the provincial law minister, Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar and submit report by December 05.
A two-judge bench was hearing Lanjar’s plea requesting the court to restrain NAB from harassing in respect to an inquiry pertaining to alleged corruption and misuse of powers made by him.
During the hearing, the NAB counsel submitted a report and informed the judges that Lanjar was not cooperating in the inquiry. He added that the provincial minister had just provided the details of his income but the same had to be scrutinized.
According to NAB, Lanjar’s assets had been increased considerably after 2008.
