Peshawar Customs forwards non bailable warrants of accused to Multan

MULTAN: The Model of Customs Collectorate has forwarded non bail-able arrested warrants of alleged absconder for its arrest.

According to details, Superintendent of Deputy Collector I& Prosecution has requested Multan Customs to assist them in arrest of alleged absconder who is involved in smuggling. Accused was absent from the hearing of smuggling case in the court of Special Judge of Customs.

Special Judge of Customs, Taxation & Anti-Smuggling Peshawar Khyber Pukhtanwa has summoned him for hearing. But he has not presented himself in the said case in Customs court. After his continuous absence Customs Special issued non-bailable warrant of accused Abdul Samad for arrest.

Accused Abdul Samad who is resident of Vehari and it comes in the jurisdiction of Multan Customs. Said accused was also Bank Manager of United Bank Limited Ghalla branch Pakpattan.

During the hearing, Customs Court issued non bailable arrest warrant on the request of Investigation and Prosecution officer appeared before the court and filed an interim charge sheet which was accepted by the court .

Special Judge of Customs, Taxation & Anti-Smuggling issued arrest warrant of accused Abdul Samad and Peshawar Customs has forwarded non bailable arrest warrant to Multan Customs for assistance in arrest of accuse. Investigation and Prosecution branch has started action against the accused for execution of his arrest.
