Customs Reforms & Automation DG Saleem to retire on Dec 31

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Saleem, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-20, is set to retire from the government service on attaining the age of superannuation.

Saleem, presently posted as Director General (OPS) at Directorate General of Reforms & Automation (Customs), Islamabad, will stand retired from the government service with effect from December 31.

The officer, on return from National Management Course (NMC), was transferred and posted as Director General (OPS), Directorate General of Reforms & Automation (Customs), Islamabad on April 26, 2017.

He assumed the charge as Director, Director General, Intelligence and Investigation-FBR, Islamabad on August 21, 2015 after relinquishing charge of the post of Collector, Customs, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi on August 15, 2015.

He was also given look-after charge of the post of Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Peshawar on April 15, 2016, while being posted as Islamabad I&I Director.
